This is a setup kit containing an evaluation version of the component as well as Visual Basic 6.0 sample programs. Evaluation versions are fully functional but will display a popup license information window briefly when using the component with Visual Basic. There will be a 10 second startup delay when using an evaluation component in an Active Server page.

The following restrictions also apply:
  • The component will randomly replace up to half of the retrieved track titles with the '*' character.
  • The application name and version may not be changed.
  • The XcmdFile property will always be set to null.
  • Submissions of CDDB data may only be made in 'test mode'.

Note that the component requires the standard Visual Basic 6.0 runtime libraries. If these are not already installed on your system, click here to download them from Microsoft's web site.
